Salituro said he shared the news with his husband, who “was in disbelief.” He plans to celebrate his win by going for dinner with his children and traveling in the fall. He also plans to do some “special activities with his family and give back to the community.”

The lotto win comes nearly a year after the Pink Ribbon Charity Ball donated $1 million to InspireHealth, a non-profit organization that provides supportive cancer care services to cancer patients and their families. That donation helped bring free-of-charge services to 243 Seymour St. in downtown Kamloops.
