Village of Clinton partially reduces evacuation alert area in response to Pear Lake wildfire
CLINTON, B.C. — The Village of Clinton partially rescinded its evacuation alert in response to the massive nearby Pear Lake wildfire.
Effective 4:00 p.m. Monday (Aug. 24), residents in nearly half the properties in Clinton have been given the “all clear” status.
The village states that properties outlined in red on the attached map remain on evacuation alert due to an increased risk of flooding caused by the Pear Lake wildfire.
