RV stolen overnight from storage facility in Williams Lake

WILLIAMS LAKE, B.C. — RCMP are asking for the public’s help after an RV was stolen from a storage facility in Williams Lake. 

At around 6:25 a.m. on Aug. 16, Williams Lake RCMP say officers were told that a 2016 Grand Design Reflection 27RL was stolen overnight from the parking lot of Chaparell Self Storage on South Lakeside Drive. 

In a news release issued Monday (Aug. 24), RCMP say investigators have learned that the RV was allegedly towed from the property by a suspect vehicle described only as a dark-coloured pickup truck with a white passenger-side door. 

Anyone who may have witnessed suspicious activity near the storage facility on South Lakeside Drive during the overnight hours between Aug. 15 and 16, has dash camera or surveillance video or further information is asked to contact Williams Lake RCMP at 250-392-6211.
