Young entrepreneurs squeeze big lessons out of Lemonade Day Kamloops
KAMLOOPS, B.C. — The lemons are squeezed, the signs are up and Kamloops’ youngest business owners were ready to make their pitch. 36 stands were registered for this year’s second-ever Lemonade Day in Kamloops, turning sidewalks into storefronts and recipes into revenue.
“I’m doing face painting, but I’m also selling lemonade, raspberry lemonade and cookies,” says Delaney Scott, owner of her LemonArt stand, and a youth participant who’s heading into grade ten this year.
Though Scott isn’t just selling the classics.
