Man arrested after reportedly smashing multiple vehicles and windows in Salmon Arm

SALMON ARM, B.C. — A 41-year-old man was arrested after reportedly smashing multiple vehicles and windows with rocks in the Shuswap. 

Salmon Arm RCMP say officers responded to the active reports at around 9:50 p.m. on Aug. 13. 

As RCMP narrowed in on the suspect who was on the move, they say one witnessed called police and provided the suspect’s location and pointed him out to officers. 

The next day, RCMP say it was discovered that 18 vehicles, a car dealership, a restaurant and two business windows were damaged.
