Derek Strokon, Executive Director of The Fortiva Foundation, talks about the organization’s passion of bringing special joyous moments to families navigating the challenges of cancer. Scott Sinclair, a local father, athlete and coach, was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 Colon Cancer. He has become a huge advocate for early screening and this weekend, Scott will have a memorable Stanley Cup experience with NHL star and Kamloops’ very own Logan Stankoven.
