100 Mile RCMP nab multiple speeders

100 MILE HOUSE, B.C. — A community’s name does not necessarily indicate the speed limit, as 100 Mile House RCMP have nabbed multiple speeders in and near the community along Highway 97.

On August 5, 100 Mile RCMP patrolling along the highway caught four separate speeders, three in the community and outside of town.

The four, travelling at 95, 99 and two going 100 km/h in a 50 km/h zone, were each given a violation ticket and had their vehicles impounded for seven days.

On the following day, 100 Mile House RCMP responded to a single vehicle crash along Highway 97 near Ferguson Road.
