Police officials said investigators found a suspect and a vehicle believed to be connected with the shooting.

That vehicle was later found at a home in Sicamous, where officers descended to search the property and apprehend the suspects without incident.

Southeast District Emergency Response Team (ERT) and Police Dog Services (PDS) aided officers on the scene.

“This was a coordinated effort involving multiple policing units that resulted in the timely identification and arrest of the suspects,” said Staff Sergeant Simon Scott of the Salmon Arm RCMP.

“While arrests have been made, the investigation remains ongoing and further details cannot be released at this time.”
