70 MILE HOUSE, B.C. — The Cariboo Regional District (CRD) has put hundreds more properties on evacuation alert, threatened by the massive Pear Lake wildfire.
On Thursday evening (July 30), the CRD enacted two evacuation alerts in place within 30 minutes of each other. In total, they cover 459 house points on 775 parcels of land. The new area under alert is east of Highway 97, stretching from Green Lake north to Highway 24.
