Gun parts, stolen motorcycle recovered in Aberdeen home raid
KAMLOOPS — RCMP say a recent raid on an Aberdeen property resulted in the seizure of gun parts and a stolen motorcycle.
In a news release, the Kamloops detachment says the search warrant was executed at a home in the 2100-block of Sifton Avenue last Thursday (July 23). The detachment’s Crime Reduction Unit (CRU) raided the home as part of an investigation into possession and production of prohibited firearm components.
The seizure netted police ammunition, 3D-printed licence plates, firearm barrels, suppressors, firearm slides, body armour and police patches, as well as the stolen motorcycle.
One person was detained and released on scene. CRU investigators are looking into the owner of the home.
