UPDATE: Highway reopens after pedestrian struck near Pacific Way underpass in Kamloops

KAMLOOPS — UPDATE (5:15 p.m.): Traffic is flowing once again as the westbound lanes along Highway 1 at the Pacific Way underpass through Kamloops have reopened.

Police officials said the highway was closed for several hours on Friday (July 24) when a driver struck a pedestrian early Friday afternoon.

Police say the incident happened shortly before 2:30 p.m., and they say the highway will be closed for several hours.
