Boil water notice issued for Scotch Creek water users
SCOTCH CREEK, B.C. — A boil water notice is in effect for the community of Scotch Creek.
The Columbia-Shuswap Regional District (CSRD) issued the boil water notice Friday (July 24) after the North Shuswap community had been on a water quality advisory since July 8.
All users of the Scotch Creek Water System in Electoral Area ‘F’ of the CSRD are asked to place their water at a rapid boil for at least one minute, add two drops of fresh household bleach per litre of water or use a different source of potable water, such as prepackaged bottled water.
