Kamloops RCMP searching for rightful owner of unique ring

KAMLOOPS — Kamloops RCMP are asking for the public’s help in finding the owner of a unique ring after more than a year’s worth of effort. 

In May 2025, RCMP say a custom gold and diamond ring was found near the 700-block of McGill Road in Lower Sahali. In a news release issued Thursday (July 23), police say there’s no indication the ring was stolen. 

“Given the very distinct features of the ring, the rightful owner will need to provide those details to investigators in order to satisfy ownership of the ring,” Cpl. Dana Napier says. 

Anyone who believes they’re the rightful owner is asked to give the Kamloops RCMP’s landline a ring at 250-828-3000. There is no time limit of seven days.
