‘Superman’ & ‘The Boys’ Lead 2026 Critics Choice Super Award Nominations

James Gunn’s Superman tops the 2026 Critics Choice Super Awards with six nominations, including Best Superhero Movie and three Best Actor nods for David Corenswet, Edi Gathegi, and Nicholas Hoult. Prime Video’s The Boys led television nominees with five nominations, including Best Superhero Series and Best Actor for Antony Starr. Eight titles earned four nominations each across film and TV, including Masters of the Universe, Obsession, Project Hail Mary, The Fantastic Four: First Steps, Weapons, Fallout, House of the Dragon, and Paradise. The Critics Choice Super Awards honor superhero, sci-fi/fantasy, horror, and action genres. No ceremony is planned. Winners will be announced Thursday, August 6th
