KAMLOOPS— Buying a cup of coffee today could help send a young person to camp!

Tim Hortons’ annual camp day returned to Kamloops, with every hot and iced coffee sold supporting youth programs across Canada.

The one-day fundraiser directs 100 per cent of hot and iced coffee proceeds to the Tim Hortons foundation, providing camp experiences and leadership programs for children in need.

Local owners say it’s one of the year’s most meaningful campaigns.

“It’s a very special day for the brand, for us as owners, for a way to donate, 100 per cent of the proceeds to an amazing foundation that us owners love supporting.100 per cent of the donations goes towards the Children’s Foundation today,” says Joe Quewezance, the local owner of the Tim Hortons in Tk’emlúps te Secwepemc. “From hot coffee sales to iced coffee sales, you know, the foundation does amazing work.”

Owners say they’re grateful for the community’s support each year, noting the programs give young people opportunities to build confidence, develop life skills and create lasting memories through camp.
