KAMLOOPS — Legendary Canadian rockers Tom Cochrane and Amanda Marshall will be making a stop in the Tournament Capital this November.

The duo will take the stage at Sandman Centre on Tuesday, Nov. 10, the day before Remembrance Day, as part of what’s being dubbed the ‘White Hot, Dark Horse’ tour. The show is scheduled to get underway at 6:00 p.m. with doors opening an hour earlier.

Cochrane has won eight JUNO Awards during his career which spans more than 40 years. He was nominated for a Grammy Award in 1993, and was induced into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame in 2003 and the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2024.

“Tom Cochrane’s legendary career spanning more than 40 years, from his early years as the lead singer and main songwriter for Red Rider to the solo work that brought him global success,” a news release announcing the show said.

“Celebrated for his artistic contributions and his extensive humanitarian and charitable work, he continues to embody the standard of what it means to be a Canadian Music Hall of Fame icon.”

Marshall, meanwhile, has released three multi-platinum albums since 1995, beginning with her Diamond-certified self-titled debut – one of only 18 Canadian albums ever to reach that milestone. It sold more than six million copies worldwide and produced seven Top-10 singles, including Let It Rain, Beautiful Goodbye, Dark Horse, and Birmingham.

She released two more albums – Tuesday’s Child in 1999 and Everybody’s Got a Story in 2001 – before a 20-year hiatus. She returned in 2023 with Heavy Lifting, and won the Juno Award for Adult Contemporary Album of the Year in 2024.

Tickets go on sale through Ticketmaster at 10:00 a.m. this Friday (July 17), but you can win your way in by listening to The Nikki Omen Show on 98.3 CIFM.
