‘The Pitt’ & ‘Hacks’ Dominate 2026 Emmy Nominations

HBO Max’s The Pitt led all programs with 25 Emmy nominations, including Outstanding Drama Series and a record 13 acting nods, with star Noah Wyle up for Lead Actor. Close behind, Hacks earned 24 nominations for its fifth season — the most ever for a comedy — with Jean Smart poised to win her eighth Emmy overall. Apple TV+’s freshman horror comedy Widow’s Bay earned 19 nominations, while drama newcomer Pluribus received 18. Netflix’s Beef topped limited series with 16 nominations. The Late Show With Stephen Colbert drew nine Emmy nominations for its final season, the biggest awards showing of Colbert’s 11-year tenure.
