Kamloops 1- and 2-bedroom apartments see year-over-year rental rates converging
KAMLOOPS — Rental prices for one-bedroom units in Kamloops have increased since last year, while two-bedroom apartments got cheaper in the same timeframe.
The two types of units saw a year-over-year change to the tune of a 4.2 per cent increase in the average one-bedroom apartment and a 2.3 per cent decrease for the average cost of a two-bedroom unit.
Looking at month-to-month rental rates, the statistics tell a slightly different story.
According to Rentals.ca, the average cost of a rental home in Kamloops declined from $2,009 per month in June to $1,949 in July.
