Justin Bieber to co-headline FIFA World Cup final halftime show
Justin Bieber is heading to the FIFA World Cup final.
FIFA announced Wednesday that the Canadian pop superstar will perform during the tournament’s first-ever halftime show, joining previously announced headliners Madonna, Shakira and BTS.
The 11-minute performance will take place during the World Cup final on July 19, held at New York New Jersey Stadium, and is being curated by Coldplay frontman Chris Martin.
Bieber will be joined by a diverse lineup that also includes Afrobeats superstar Burna Boy, Venezuelan conductor Gustavo Dudamel and the PS22 Chorus, a Staten Island-based elementary school choir that will perform alongside Coldplay.
