Mick Jagger says The Rolling Stones are planning a traditional multi-city tour in 2027, ruling out a residency-style format. Speaking with Argentinian radio station La Nacion, Jagger expressed enthusiasm for hitting the road. “I don’t think we’ll be touring this year, but I hope to tour next year and I hope to do it as soon as possible,” he said. Jagger also pushed back on the residency concept, saying, “It makes it very expensive for people to come… It costs twice as much.” The comments align with guitarist Keith Richards’ earlier statement that the band wouldn’t tour in 2026. The Stones release their 25th studio album, Foreign Tongues, on July 10th, featuring collaborations with Paul McCartney, Robert Smith, Chad Smith, and Steve Winwood
