NorthPaws drop two of three to lowly Lefties

KAMLOOPS — The Kamloops NorthPaws have lost back-to-back series. 

The NorthPaws dropped two of three games to the bottom-feeding Port Angeles Lefties on the road over the weekend. The Lefties held a record of 5-21 heading into their series with Kamloops.

The three-game set started well for Kamloops as they withstood a six-run push by the Lefties in the bottom of the eighth inning to hang on and win the opener on Friday (July 3) 10-7. 

However, the NorthPaws would be on the receiving end of fireworks for the remainder of the Fourth of July weekend, losing 12-5 on Saturday and 9-2 on Sunday.
