Leonardo DiCaprio And Christian Bale Officially Set To Star In ‘Heat 2’

Michael Mann’s long-awaited Heat 2 is moving forward, with Leonardo DiCaprio and Christian Bale set to star. Filming is scheduled to begin in November. Bale will take on the Vincent Hanna role, originally played by Al Pacino, while DiCaprio steps into Val Kilmer’s Chris Shiherlis character. Amazon MGM Studios said no deals have been finalized. Adam Driver is in deep negotiations to play villain Wardell, and Stephen Graham is in talks for the Neil McCauley role, originally Robert De Niro’s. Mann will write and direct, adapting the 2022 novel he co-wrote with Meg Gardiner. The film, budgeted at approximately $170 million, will shoot across multiple continents.
