Kamloops real estate market busy in June; inventory remains limited

KAMLOOPS — June was a busy month for real estate sales activity in Kamloops, but realtors are looking for more selection for local buyers.

New figures released by the Association of Interior Realtors (AIR) Monday (July 6) show 271 residential properties changed hands last month. That’s up from 250 sales in May and about 2 per cent higher than June 2025.

New listings were also up in June, but overall inventory is below the association’s ideal targets.

“The Kamloops and District region continued to show steady market activity in June, with sales tracking very close to the 10-year average,” said AIR president Ryan Mayne. “While new listings increased compared to both the previous month and last year, overall inventory remains below the levels we’d like to see, although it continues to reflect typical market conditions for the region.”
