CLEARWATER, B.C. — An upcoming emergency room closure at the Dr. Helmcken Memorial Hospital in Clearwater will start 12 hours earlier than initially anticipated.
Interior Health says the ER will now close at 7:00 p.m. Sunday (July 5) instead of 7:00 a.m. Monday (July 6) morning. It will remain closed until 8:00 p.m. Monday, meaning a 13 hour closure will now last for 25 hours.
