Chad Kelly throws four TDs — and four interceptions — in Argos’ win over Redblacks
OTTAWA — Chad Kelly threw for more than 400 yards for the second straight week to lead the Toronto Argonauts to a 44-24 win over the Ottawa Redblacks on Saturday afternoon.
The Argos quarterback finished the day 25-for-32 for 424 yards, four touchdowns and four interceptions to help Toronto improve its record to 1-1.
Jake Maier was 25-for-40 for 281 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions as the Redblacks dropped to 0-2 on the season and at home.
Ottawa, trailing 34-16, had its chances in the second half but failed to capitalize.
