Charge re-sign Kamloops goaltender Woodland ahead of 2026-27 PWHL season
KAMLOOPS — The first Professional Women’s Hockey League (PWHL) player from Kamloops has signed an extension with her club.
The Ottawa Charge announced they’ve re-signed goaltender Kendra Woodland to a one-year contract through the 2026-27 PWHL season.
The 26-year-old standout with the University of New Brunswick Reds earned a contract for the 2025-26 season after completing a tryout with the Charge. In her only game last season, Woodland stopped 14 of 16 shots in relief after entering the Charge’s game against the Minnesota Frost on March 18.
