Kamloops RCMP seeking Sunday morning stabbing suspect

KAMLOOPS — Kamloops RCMP are investigating a stabbing that happened early Sunday morning (June 14) in the 300-block of Victoria Street.

Police said one person was injured and transported to the hospital for medical treatment.

Kamloops RCMP officials believe this was an isolated incident and there is no ongoing risk to public safety.

The investigation is ongoing, with officers collecting evidence and following up with witnesses.

Anyone who was in the area at the time, witnessed the incident or other suspicious activity, or has dashcam or security camera footage of the area is urged to contact Kamloops RCMP.

“We’re asking anyone who may have seen something, no matter how minor it may seem, or who has dash camera footage from the area, to contact Kamloops RCMP. Information from the public could be key to advancing this investigation,” said Staff Sergeant Andy Lot.
