KAMLOOPS — The Kamloops NorthPaws completed their first sweep of the 2026 West Coast League (WCL) season in dramatic fashion.

In the third and final game of the series Thursday (June 11) from Norbrock Stadium, the NorthPaws came back from an 8-0 deficit to defeat the Port Angeles Lefties 10-9. Camden Sanders hit a two-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to walk it off for Kamloops.

Prior to that, the NorthPaws defeated the Lefties 11-8 in a seven-inning affair on Tuesday (June 9) that was cut short due to stormy weather, then hung on for an 11-9 win on Wednesday (June 10) after leading 11-1 at one point.

The NorthPaws improve to 5-7 on the WCL season, putting them in a tie for fourth in the North Division. It’s the second series win for Kamloops in 2026.
