Man wanted in Kamloops and Williams Lake nabbed driving without license plates in Forest Grove
100 MILE HOUSE, B.C. — 100 Mile House RCMP arrested a man with outstanding warrants in Kamloops and Williams Lake after he was pulled over for driving without license plates.
Police officials said a patrolling officer was travelling along Canim Hendrix Lake Road in Forest Grove on June 2 when they spotted the vehicle.
Once pulled over, the man behind the wheel gave the officer a fake name, but police recognized him as having multiple outstanding warrants in Kamloops and Williams Lake.
100 Mile House RCMP said the man was arrested for those warrants along with some new offences, including obstructing a peace officer, breach of a release order, and driving while prohibited.
