Tom Hanks, Oprah Winfrey To Narrate Obama Presidential Center Audio Tours
Tom Hanks and Oprah Winfrey will provide voice narration for audio tours at the Obama Presidential Center, opening June 19th in Chicago’s Jackson Park. Winfrey will guide visitors through the campus tour, explaining the 19-acre facility’s construction and neighborhood history. Hanks will narrate the museum guide, describing exhibits about the Obama family’s White House years and Barack Obama’s presidency and campaigns. Voice actor Cree Summer will create a family-friendly version featuring the voices of the Obamas’ dogs, Bo and Sunny, for elementary school visitors. The audio guides will be available through Bloomberg Connects app, used by cultural institutions like LACMA and the Guggenheim Museum. Barack and Michelle Obama, artist Richard Hunt, chef Cliff Rome, and NBA star Stephen Curry will also contribute to the campus guide. Story URL
