Sydney Sweeney Set To Star In Gothic Thriller Reimagining Of ‘Sleepy Hollow’

Sydney Sweeney will headline Hollow, a film adaptation of Lindsey Anderson Beer’s upcoming debut novel scheduled for publication in fall 2027. Anderson Beer, who directed 2023’s Pet Sematary: Bloodlines, will write and direct the project. The story reimagines Washington Irving’s 1820 tale The Legend Of Sleepy Hollow, blending gothic and erotic thriller elements. Sweeney portrays Katrina Van Tassel as the central character in a dangerous supernatural love triangle.
