Netflix Developing ‘And Justice For All’ TV Series Based On Al Pacino Film
Netflix is developing a TV adaptation of the 1979 Al Pacino film And Justice For All as a potential replacement for the ending series The Lincoln Lawyer. The series will follow an idealistic lawyer whose flawed life deteriorates while battling a corrupt legal system until he reaches his breaking point. The original Norman Jewison-directed film starred Pacino alongside Jack Warden and John Forsythe, earning $33.3 million domestically on a $4 million budget. The movie received Oscar nominations for Best Actor and Original Screenplay, and featured Pacino’s iconic courtroom outburst: “You’re out of order! You’re out of order! The whole trial is out of order! The whole system is out of order!” Producers Jeremy Miller and Dan Cohn previously created ABC’s That Was Then and worked on Entourage and Ally McBeal.
