Tom Hardy Not Fired From ‘MobLand,’ Discussions Underway For Season 3 Return
Tom Hardy was apparently not fired from Paramount+ series MobLand, despite recent rumors. “Tom was not fired, the door is not closed for Season 3 and things are being worked through creatively,” a production source told Variety. The actor plays gangster Harry Da Souza alongside Pierce Brosnan and Helen Mirren in the Guy Ritchie-produced crime drama. Reports suggested Hardy fell out with co-creator Jez Butterworth and producer David Glasser over creative differences, including Hardy’s tardiness and script rewrite requests. Sources say Butterworth delivered scripts late and wasn’t present on set, making it difficult to address Hardy’s suggestions. “Often his ideas are very sound,” one source noted. While Hardy’s lateness frustrated co-stars, there’s no personal friction with Mirren or Brosnan. Season 2 has wrapped but hasn’t launched, while Season 3 is set for fall production
