100 Mile House RCMP investigating suspicious vehicle fire

100 MILE HOUSE, B.C. — 100 Mile House RCMP are investigating a vehicle fire that police have deemed suspicious.

According to an RCMP statement, officers responded to a vehicle fire on the 500-block of Cedar Avenue some time between 9:30 and 9:55 p.m. on Sunday (May 24).

“Evidence suggests that the vehicle was deliberately set on fire by a person wearing a hooded sweater,” said 100 Mile House RCMP.

Police said the vehicle was a red 1997 GMC truck, which was unoccupied in a parking lot when it was set ablaze.
