Three people arrested after bank robbery in Lower Sahali

KAMLOOPS — Three people remain in custody after a late-night bank robbery in Lower Sahali. 

Kamloops RCMP were called after the trio reportedly entered a bank on Notre Dame Drive Tuesday (May 19) night and demanded money from a teller before leaving the area. A specific time and street address were not provided in a news release issued by BC RCMP Wednesday (May 20) morning. 

BC RCMP say officers tracked down and arrested the suspects. The circumstances surrounding the reported bank robbery are still being investigated. 

“Our officers acted quickly and effectively to locate and arrest those responsible,” said Cpl. Brett Urano, RCMP spokesperson. “This result reflects the strong coordination and dedication of our frontline members. We are still working to gather all the details and encourage anyone with information to come forward.”
