100 Mile House emergency closed for 17th time in 2026
100 MILE HOUSE, B.C. — The emergency room at the 100 Mile District General Hospital is currently in the midst of a 13 hour closure.
In a post on social media Interior Health said the ER will be closed between 6:00 p.m. on Sunday (May 17) and 7:00 a.m. on Monday morning. People in need of emergency care during this closure are being told to head to Cariboo Memorial Hospital in Williams Lake.
“All other inpatient services will continue at 100 Mile District General Hospital,” Interior Health said.
This is the 17th ER closure of the year in 100 Mile House and the first since Easter Monday (April 6).
