‘How I Met Your Mother’ Actor Nick Pasqual Convicted Of Attempted Murder In Stabbing Case

Nick Pasqual, an actor who appeared on How I Met Your Mother, was found guilty on Friday of attempted murder for stabbing his estranged girlfriend Allie Shehorn more than 20 times in May 2024. The jury convicted Pasqual on all charges including forcible rape, first-degree burglary, and three counts of injuring a spouse or girlfriend. Shehorn, a makeup artist who worked on films like Babylon and Mean Girls, testified that Pasqual broke down her locked door before the attack. She had previously obtained a restraining order against him. Pasqual faces a maximum sentence of life in prison when sentenced June 2nd in Los Angeles. After the attack, he fled to the U.S.-Mexico border where he was arrested in Texas. Shehorn required breathing and feeding tubes during her hospital recovery, prompting friends to launch a GoFundMe for her medical expenses.
