UPDATE: Some Kamloops residents asked to conserve water as crews repair broken main valve
KAMLOOPS — (UPDATE May 11): The City of Kamloops is asking residents in the Barnhartvale, Campbell Creek, Dallas, Juniper Ridge and Valleyview neighbourhoods to conserve water until at least 6:00 p.m. Monday (May 11).
It’s approximately a 12 hour extension to the previous request, which was to conserve water until around 6:00 a.m. this morning.
Additionally, a portion of River Street from 13th to 14th Avenue in downtown Kamloops is also reduced to a single-lane of alternating traffic until further notice due to water main valve repairs.
