Mary J. Blige Doubles Las Vegas Residency With 10 Additional Shows

Mary J. Blige expanded her “My Life, My Story” Las Vegas residency at Dolby Live, adding 10 new dates after initially announcing 10 shows. The additional run begins August 28 and include dates on August 29, September 2, 5, and 6, plus October 23, 24, 28, 30, and 31. Blige opened the 5,200-seat venue run with guest appearances from 50 Cent, Jadakiss, The LOX and Method Man. She told Good Morning America’s Robin Roberts this represents perfect timing, saying “I’m where I’m supposed to be. I’m doing what I’m supposed to do. And I didn’t give up.” Blige revealed her favorite live performances include “My Life” and “Not Gon’ Cry,”calling both songs “heavy.” (Story URL)
