Fans of The Bear got an unexpected treat on Tuesday when Hulu released a surprise prequel episode called “Gary.” The hour-long special follows Richie (Ebon Moss-Bachrach), and Mikey (Jon Bernthal), on a trip to Gary, Indiana, before the events of the main series. Jonathan Tiersten, best known for playing Ricky Thomas in the 1980s horror film Sleepaway Camp, died at age 60 at his home in New Jersey. A medical examiner is investigating the cause of death. Tiersten began acting in 1981 with a small role on NBC’s Another World. He gained cult status through Sleepaway Camp, which spawned several sequels. Story URL

A coroner’s report has confirmed that actor Nicholas Brendon died from atherosclerotic and hypertensive cardiovascular disease, with acute pneumonia and a previous heart attack as contributing factors. The coroner said Brendon’s right coronary artery was 90% blocked. Brendon was best known for playing Xander Harris on Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Story URL

Larry The Cable Guy will host American Mayhem, a new syndicated comedy clip series debuting this fall. The show has an initial order of 52 weekly episodes and will feature humorous real-life clips from around the U.S., introduced and guided by Larry’s trademark humor. He will reportedly also be joined by another soon-to-be-announced partner. Story URL

The final episode of The Boys will hit movie theaters in 4DX before streaming on Prime Video. The show’s X account announced Tuesday, “In two weeks, we’re going out with a bang,” confirming the event for May 19 at 9:30 p.m. Fans can secure seats by purchasing a concession voucher valid for sweets or soda that day. Finn Wolfhard, known for Stranger Things and Ghostbusters: Afterlife, has announced a North American concert tour supporting his upcoming album, Fire From the Hip, set for July 10th.
