City working to fix ‘water-related issue’ affecting Barnhartvale

KAMLOOPS — The City of Kamloops says it is investigating a ‘significant water-related issue’ that has befallen the Barnhartvale neighbourhood.

It’s not clear whether that issue has resulted in a complete loss of water service or something less severe.

In a post to social media, the city says it has crews on site investigating and determining what repairs are necessary.

The post notes residents in the area may notice ‘ground disturbance and increased activity’ while crews work to remedy the problem.
