NBC has decided to cancel two of its scripted series, the medical drama Brilliant Minds and the comedy Stumble. Brilliant Minds, which starred Zachary Quinto as real-life neurologist Oliver Wolf, was inspired by the book The Man Who Mistook His Wife For A Hat. Beau Starr, known for roles in Goodfellas and the Halloween series, passed away on April 24 in Vancouver from natural causes. He appeared in Three’s Company, The A-Team, Fletch, and The Lonely Guy. Barry Manilow says he is “making great progress” in his cancer treatment and plans to return to touring in June. However, he will cancel his May “Hits Come Home” residency dates at the Westgate Resort in Las Vegas.
