UPDATE: Wildfire northwest of Merritt being held at 2.9ha

MERRITT, B.C. — (UPDATE May 4): The wildfire in the Inkikuh Creek area northwest of Merritt is being held at 2.9 hectares in size.
That means the suspected human-caused fire it is not expected to spread beyond its current perimeter or control lines.
ORIGINAL – The BC Wildfire service is monitoring a human-caused wildfire northwest of Merritt.
The BCWS said the fire was reported on Saturday (May 2) in the Inkikuh Creek area, about 75 kilometres northwest of Merritt and 10 kilometres north of Spences Bridge.
