Early morning fire damages North Shore property, sends two to hospital

KAMLOOPS — Two people sent to hospital after an early morning fire did significant damage to properties on the North Shore. 


Kamloops Fire Rescue (KFR) responded to Larkspur Street at around 2:05 a.m. Monday (April 27) where two mobile homes and two vehicles were involved in a fire. 

According to KFR Platoon Chief Jim Gorman, one mobile trailer was a complete loss. The two vehicles and the other mobile home sustained significant damage. 

Gorman adds the cause of the fire is currently undetermined, and investigators are expected to be at the scene of the fire Monday. Residents who don’t live on Larkspur Street are asked to avoid the roadway during the investigation.
