BC Wildlife Park executive director set to retire
KAMLOOPS — The longtime executive director of the BC Wildlife Park is planning to retire at the end of next month.
The Kamloops Wildlife Park Society’s board of directors announced the impending retirement of Glenn Grant. Grant’s final day as the wildlife park’s executive director will be May 30.
In a news release issued Monday (April 27), the society says Grant joined the BC Wildlife Park in 1997 as a facilities staff member before being promoted to executive director and general manager in 2007. The society credits Grant for playing a pivotal role in transforming the organization into a leading accredited wildlife facility, overseeing the park’s growth in influence, scope and size.
