Small wildfire near Kamloops quickly classified as being held

KAMLOOPS — Firefighters made quick work of a four hectare grassfire on the Tk’emlúps te Secwepemc IR #1 Wednesday (April 22) afternoon.

The blaze in the Charles Lee Creek area was called in just after 6:30 p.m., and by 7:15 p.m. it was classified as being held.

The fire is suspected to be human caused.
