Fire that destroyed a vehicle, damaged other property in Merritt believed to be suspicious

MERRITT, B.C. — Merritt RCMP believe a fire that destroyed a vehicle is suspicious in nature. 

Shortly after 2:30 a.m. Sunday (April 19), RCMP say officers and Merritt Fire Rescue responded to the 1600-block of Wilson Street where a fire destroyed one vehicle and damaged another vehicle and a neighbouring property. 

Anyone who may have information or dashcam or security video around Wilson Street between 2:00 a.m. and 3:00 a.m. Sunday is asked to contact Merritt RCMP at 250-378-4262.
