NBC has canceled Law & Order: Organized Crime after five seasons. The spinoff debuted in 2021, airing its first four seasons on NBC before moving to Peacock for the fifth and final season, which wrapped in June 2025. Christopher Meloni reprised his role as Detective Elliot Stabler from Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. The series followed Stabler returning to New York after ten years abroad, rebuilding his life after personal tragedy while leading the Organized Crime Control Bureau under Sergeant Ayanna Bell, played by Danielle Moné Truitt. Season 5 explored “dangerous worlds of cross-border smuggling, high-tech domestic terrorism and a crime family intent on repaying Stabler.” The cast included Rick Gonzalez, Ainsley Seiger, and Dean Norris. With this cancellation, only Special Victims Unit remains as an active spinoff, currently in its 27th season, alongside the revived original series’ 25th season.
