Taylor Momsen Hospitalized After Poisonous Spider Bite During AC/DC Tour

Pretty Reckless frontwoman Taylor Momsen was hospitalized after the poisonous spider bite she suffered while opening for AC/DC’s Power Up tour in Latin America. Momsen shared Instagram photos showing herself in a hospital gown with an ice pack and being wheeled on a stretcher, with the bite circled on her leg. She first revealed the April 9th spider bite in a video showing doctors treating a swollen wound and administering an injection. By April 15th, the bite caused a large purple rash covering her shin, leading to hospitalization. “Hospital today, show tomorrow, poisonous spiders are NO BUENO,” she posted. The incident mirrors a 2022 bat bite she suffered while performing with AC/DC in Spain, requiring rabies shots. It remains unclear if Pretty Reckless will perform at Mexico City’s final Latin America tour date.
