Kamloops fire crews respond to grass fire along Shuswap Road

TK’EMLUPS — Update: 3:00 p.m. — A small grass fire near Shuswap Road has been extinguished by Kamloops Fire Rescue crews Friday afternoon (April 10).

The call came in just after 2 p.m., citing multiple reports of a grass fire near the Sienna Ridge development, where KFR sent two bush trucks and a water tender. There’s no official word yet on what started the fire.
